|||how is this even a question? I assume that you have a non turbo engine (also called the 420a, which is the same engine found in the dodge neon). The best, most viable option would be to install the engine from the turbo eclipse, the 4g63T, which is directly related to the engine from the Lancer evolution(evo). However, you could also buy a turbo kit for the 420a or install the engine from a Dodge neon SRT-4.|||Why did you buy a 4 banger if you want more hot rod in the car.??? Go to the speed shop and see if they have a few trinkets to install in the beast... Trinkets are not free bring money in the wallet...|||A working ONE!!|||Well first I love you because you own a Mitsubishi. Represent! Welcome to the family of Mitsu! So I say you put in a v12, lol just kidding.
Space is small in those, so you will have a tight fit, but a straight 6 may work. eBay or even a junk yard could have them. Good luck!|||the best thing to do would be to drop in the gs-t motor with the turbo if you had the time and money. or you can just turbo this one. either way it'll cost a couple thousand. but if you want added horse power, for a cheaper price, go for cold air intake, new headers, exhaust manifold, hi flow catalytic converter, and a cat back exhaust. basiclly more air going in and coming out is what you want. hopefully that helps :)|||if you got the bucks and a good mechanic you can put in it whatever you want. why not just buy a more powerful car|||i dont mean to but dudes bubble but if you have a RS/GS than you have the 420a engine, the GST/GSX(turbo model) engine WILL NOT FIT long list of reasons why, few people have done it, its not a direct bolt up. but with alot of money to spend yeah you could if you wanted drop a viper engine in..... insta power there... but on a realistic note the 420a engine is a good building block to work on, and you can expect alot out of it if you are willing to deal with the work it will take. Power comes with the cost of your wallet and your wrench time. have fun with the build..........2gnt.com
