How hard is it to fix a Mitsubishi 50 inch projection tv that has sound but no picture?

Just like the question says, how hard is it to fix a Mitsubishi 50 inch projection tv that has sound but no picture?

What would it need? Just a bulb?

Would I have to have a specialist to repair it?

Thanks!|||If it is the bulb...It's pretty simple, all you have to do is take off a little tiny square panel board that is secured with like 4 phillip's screws...depending on the type of TV you have.

Then you just grab that bulb and pull it out and put in the new one...The bulb itself will run around $80.00-$250.00 or so, depending on the size and brand of your tv.

Manual can guide you step by step how to do it. |||Yes, you might need the bulb. Try unplugging it, wait a half hour and plug it back in. Do you have it connected to a power surge protector? If so, when you plug it back in, plug it directly into the wall socket....hope this helps, if not it looks like you might have to replace the bulb....|||If it is the bulb, it is probably user-replecable. Check the User's guide on how to do it
