How to make my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT the fastest?

My goal is to make my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT the fastest I can with out adding an turbo or supercharger. The only problem is I dont know how? I all ready added a new intake (short ram air, top of line). But dont know what else to added?|||At this stage, the cheapest thing to do is to remove parts.

Remove the rear of the interior; seats, paneling, trunk items; spare tire, jack, carpeting, paneling.

Remove rotational mass from the engine; air conditioning compressor, power steering pump. You'll have to get a different serpentine belt for this though.

Use a thinner, fully synthetic oil. 5W-30 Mobil 1 should be fine, but don't get an oil thinner than that for the summer months.

Port the throttle body with a Dremel tool and some fine grain sand paper around 200 grit.

Make sure your tires are properly inflated to the vehicle manufacturer's specification for the appropriate amount of road contact and tire wear.

Add Water Wetter to the coolant and replace your existing thermostat with a fail-safe 180* thermostat.

Those are the cheap routes. Now is on to the relatively costly modifications.

Replace your exhaust system with a larger bore system. Remove the catalytic converter (if it doesn't have an O2 sensor in it, which I believe it does) or replace it with a high flowing catalytic converter. Remove the resonator as well. Basically going 3" straight back from the catalytic converter.

Replace the headers with higher-flowing headers.

If you want a lot more power, you'll have to go with one or two turbochargers. That's the deal when building a vehicle. Turbochargers produce the most horsepower per dollar in comparison to building a naturally aspirated vehicle.|||Jack up the license plate, and replace the car with a first generation, manual transmissioned, all wheel drive Talon/Eclipse or Laser.|||It's just not worth it. That 3.0 V6 is worthless and wont make much power even with heavy tuning.
