Mitsubishi?

when I c the price of Mitsubishi cars they rnt expensive for nice new cars like the new 2008 Eclipse why r they priced so cheap r they sucky cars r they good wats wrong with them?|||There isn't anything wrong with the cars that Mitsubishi makes. They are, on the otherhand, so underrated. The cars that suck in their lineup are actually cars made by Chrysler and rebadged as a Mitsubishi. Case in point, the Raider. It's a Dodge Dakota. The 1st and 2nd gen Eclipse share the same platform as the Lasers and Talons. The 420a engine is shared by the base models. They have a bad rap, having oil leaks from substandard head gaskets. They are however not as well made as the Hondas and the Toyotas. They are still good. And why are they so cheap? Not really! They are actually a little pricey for the quality of materials being used. I believe that Mitsubishi builds very competitive cars. They last very long as well when cared for. Mitsubishi has one colorful history in the world of automotive rally competition. They have been dominating the Dakar to Paris Rally and had won the race five or seven (?) times in a row with the Montero. Honda and Toyota cannot say that of their cars.

The Eclipse is actually good, but cannot be recommended by Consumer Reports because it got a low score in their tests. Predicted reliability is above average, better than most cars out there.|||Mitsubishi is a very reliable company to buy from. However, in my opinion, the Lancer Evolution X is your best bet from them.|||Mitsubishi's are underated|||They are junk, if you are looking for an AWD fast car, buy a Subaru, they are cheap because they suck, and when you spend $20,000 on one and drive it off of the lot they are worth $10,000. Why do you think they offer a good warranty? They break alot and they have to do something to sell them.|||Yes they are and they drive good too I have a well kept 3000gt and I still never get tired of it even in these times of better gas mileage and bigger v6 engines.

I think they get a bad rap because a lot of kids trash the eclipses I found 1 in like 20 in good condition but more of v6 versions in good condition due to higher insurance for younger drivers.|||The marketplace is really competitive right now - most cars are going for cheaper - way cheaper than they used to. Under the California Lemon Law, there are records of recalls and reported issues with Mitsubishi machines...these problems and recalls affect other areas, I just happen to find the CA info first.

You can read about them specifically here;

Other recall info for other manufacturers are listed alphabetically on this page too...

Not exactly an answer to your question but it does give you an idea of what most places are putting out there for us to drive. Doesn't make you feel safe, huh?

The only cars not listed on the main list are Skoda - not in the US just yet but made by Czechs (not bad cars, really) and Suzuki...so I'm guessing that they make good stuff.|||buy a lancer x|||nothing they just suck
