How do you recharge the a/c in a 01 mitsubishi mirage?

I have a 2001 mitsubishi mirage and my air conditioning doesn't work. My compressor is not kicking on because the freon is so low, so I'm not able to recharge the freon myself. If you know how to cross the wires over or something to turn the compressor back on so I can recharge the freon please give detailed directions on how. Thanks alot in advance for any and all responses!!|||It doesn't work this way...if the freon is low means there is a leak somewhere that needs to be repaired. Plus, you would need a special equipment that mechanics have in a garage. Take it to a mechanic.
