i have a Mitsubishi HD 1080 series projection tv. it was bought years ago. it doesn't have an hdmi input. i'm planning to buy a blu-ray player. is there some kind of adaptor that will allow me to connect the blu-ray player to my tv?|||If your TV has component input jacks (red-blue-green video plus red-white audio), you can connect a Blu-ray player with the 5 component cables. The HD quality won't be quite as good as on a TV with HDMI inputs, but you probably won't be able to tell the difference.
Another option would be an HDMI to component adapter, like the reference below. That *might* produce a slightly better picture, but again, don't count on seeing any real difference.|||The blu ray will have at least 3 ways to connect to the tv.
You probably already know that the best video and audio comes with using the hdmi cable.
You should be able to connect with component and composite cables also.
Adapters can be found on this site.
