my 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage makes a grinding sound that you can feel in the gas pedal when you bear right on the steering wheel. It also has a humming sound when going straight.
The axel has been replaced, but years ago.
Any suggestions?|||SOUNDS LIKE AN HUB OR AXLE BEARING IS GONE OUT.|||If you only hear and feel this when turning to the right or left, it is most likely a front wheel bearing.|||it may be the wheel bearing...but it could be the CVC JOINT going bad ..... check to see if the cover or boot is torn on the cvc joint if it is..debris got into it and is chewing up the inside
....it needs to be replaced
